PHARMA DAY
For developing the feeling of respect towards their profession, “Pharma Day” was celebrated on 27 November 2009 based on the theme “Educate before you Medicate”. Activities organized under the guidance of Dr. Mona Nagar and the faculty members on the day included extempore and debate competition, poster making and essay writing on the topics ”Impact of economic crisis on the Pharmaceutical Sector” and “Application of Computers in pharmaceutical and clinical studies”. The confidence and the enthusiasm among the students was phenomenal, which was reflected during events.
Visualizing the challenges in the educational structure today, we have created an environment that chisels the students through several training programs that are a natural blend of knowledge and values. Our culture is rooted deeply in spiritual values and unless these values find their way into the life of students, education will loose its significance and will fail to fulfill the function of endowing the students with a vision to live by and with ideals to for. Thus for this we are shouldering great responsibility of molding students’ personality on sound scientific lines. The reflection of these values is apparent from the contributions made by the student in different fields from time to time.
